Cardboard Chestplate

Introduction: Cardboard Chestplate

About: Chickes (not for eating)...

Before I start this I have to say something to you guys who are reading this. I am so sorry because of the images in reverse. I'll try to stop this evilness(?) from happening.

So this is a really easy to make armor. It only took me 30 minutes to make it (although its shoulders are not really resistant).

So lets get started!

Step 1: Materials

So for this project you will need

  • Cardboard
  • String

  • Cutter
  • Pen
  • Ruler
  • Tape

Step 2: Body

So for the body part, you will need 2 cardboard plates that cover your chest and part of your stomach (both of them).

After that, roll both plates and undo it. This will make the plate fit on your body.

Then, cut both of them as shown on the 4th picture. Cut it in a way that it makes your arms and neck move freely.

Step 3: Shoulders

Get 2 plates that cover your shoulder and a bit more. Make them round as you did with the chest. Connect the 2 of them with string, just remember, dont make it thight.

Step 4: Putting Together

Connect the body plates together so it protects both front and back of your body. Put the shoulders on the body and tape it. Make it rigid.

After you do that, make 2 plates as shown on the 4th picture to protect your sides, then tape it as shown

Step 5: Final Touches.

So you can paint it as you want, I didn't paint them actually

Sorry if I had some mistakes or didn't describe well the things. Please tell me if you liked on the commentaries bellow! ^^
