Introduction: How to Make Carrot Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting

Carrot cake with Cream cheese frosting!
A great treat to make and enjoy any time of the day!
Easy to make!!!!

Supplies

1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 vegetable oil
3 cups shredded carrots
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of Nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon Cloves
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Glass Baking pan or 2 round pans
Frosting
8oz Cream cheese
5 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/4 cups Powdered sugar
1 tablespoon Sour cream

Step 1: Wet and Dry Mixture

1. You will need your mixture for the wet ingredients and a large bowl for the dry ingredients.
2. In the mixture mix, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, carrots and oil. Mix and set aside.
3. In the large bowl add the dry ingredients. Flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
4. Mix the dry ingredients, set to the side.

Step 2: Shred the Carrots

1. Cut the ends off the carrots.
2. Peel the carrots.
3. Shred the carrots (you can also use a food processor).
4. You need 3 cups.

Step 3: Mix the Ingredients

1. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.

Step 4: Bake the Carrot Cake

1. Bake at 350
2. Bake for 40-45 minutes in a glass pan.
3. Spray pan with cooking spray or butter before.
4. Let cool or place in fridge until cool.

Step 5: Cream Cheese Frosting

1. Mix the frosting in mixture.
Frosting
8oz Cream cheese
5 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/4 cups Powdered sugar
1 tablespoon Sour cream

2. Once cake is cool, frost.

Step 6: Cut & Serve

1. Cut and serve
2. Great for a morning or late night snack!.
