About: From our household to yours, a group of diverse, self-taught home chefs share family-tested unique recipes daily.

Cauliflower Crust Pizza is the perfect alternative for those looking at cutting back on gluten and grains. Fresh cauliflower grated or chopped in your food processor serves as the base for this low carb pizza. Everyone loves pizza and this gluten-free recipe allows you to eat one of your favorite foods without feeling sluggish from the typical high carb crust.

Step 1:

To get this recipe started, simply cook your cauliflower, then use your food processor to pulse it until it resembles cooked rice after you have steamed it. Then you’re going to let it cool.

Step 2:

Next, we are going to wring out the water.

Step 3:

After ringing out the water I am going to start mixing in the cheese and egg. I am using 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and a 1/4 a cup of mozzarella cheese. The additional cheese will be our topping. I am also adding in one egg beaten. A few pinches of sea salt and two tablespoons of Italian seasoning. Mix your ingredients

Step 4:

Now grab your parchment paper and line your baking sheet. Once you have mixed the cauliflower with your other ingredients, you can easily form it into a crust as you would with a traditional flour crust recipe. It bakes up just like a traditional pizza crust does and you can cook it longer for a crispier crust or less time for a crust you can fold in your hand.

Now we are going to bake it for about 8-12 minutes at 425 degrees, depending on your oven until it is a light golden brown, from there we are going to top it with sauce and your ingredients.

Step 5:

Once you top your Gluten-Free Cauliflower Pizza Crust with your favorite toppings, it’s ready for the oven.
