Hi, My name is Megha. Below is a recipe for one of the best desserts ever!!!! These chai latte cups are perfect for any occasion and they taste just like the real thing. I hope that you love this recipe as much as I do and that you try them out for yourselves. I promise you 100% that you will love them as much as I do!

Step 1: Measure Out Your Ingredients

The first step to making these amazing desserts are to measure your ingredients for the cookies cups.

Ingredients:

2 3/4 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Step 2: Sift Together the Dry Ingredients

Next your going to have to sift and mix together flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Set that bowl aside.

Step 3: Cream the Butter and Sugar Together

Beat the sugar and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.

Step 4: Add in the Eggs and Vanilla

Add in the eggs and vanilla and then mix well.

Step 5: Prepare the Dough

Gradually beat in the flour until it's mixed together well; then refrigerate the dough for 2 hours or until firm.

Step 6: Making the Cups

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Oil your cupcake tin well and then roll balls in your hand or use a medium sized ice cream scope to place balls of dough into the cups. Press the dough down onto the sides and bottom of the cup but, remember not to make the bottom too thick or it will not bake evenly. Once you have formed the shape of the cup you can place the cupcake tin in the oven for 10 to 13 minutes or until slightly golden brown around the edges.

Step 7: Taking the Cups Out of the Oven

Once you take the cookies out of the oven, immediately get a medicine cup or small cup and press it down in the middle of the soft cookies so that you form a dip in the cup. Once cooled, you can take the cups out of the tins and place them on a plate.

Step 8: Putting the Handles Onto to the Cup

Next you are going to need to cut the pretzels in about half with scissors. Melt some chocolate in the microwave and then stick the ends of the pretzels into the chocolate and then onto the cup. Hold it there for about two min. and then you can lean it up against a plate to dry.

Step 9: Melting Together the Heavy Cream and Chocolate

Next it is time to make the ganache! Make a double broiler and then pour the heavy cream into the bowl that is on top of the water. When the heavy cream is starting to come to a boil, you can add in the chocolate.

Step 10: Adding in the Spices

Once the chocolate is melted together with the heavy cream, you can add in the spices that make it taste like a chai latte. You will have to add in a pinch or so of the cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. Once the spices are mixed together you can take the ganache off the stove.

Step 11: Assembling the Chai Latte Cookie Cups

Now for our final step! Place the cookie cups with the handles onto a plate. Pour you ganache into a cup so that it is easier for you to pour it into the cookie cups. Once you pour the ganache into the cookie cups you can sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top and add any other decorations you would like! Then...... voila, here are your amazing, creative, cute, and most important of all, delicious chai latte cookie cups!!
