Introduction: Chalkboard Herb Drying Rack
There are many simple herb drying racks that you can use, but this is much more convenient. With the chalkboard background you can write the date it will be fully dry, or write the type of herb you're hanging. So, in this instructable I will show you how to create a chalkboard herb drying rack.

Step 1: Supplies
1. 17in. long 9in. wide board
2. Screw Hooks
3. Chalkboard Paint
4. Primer Paint
5. Sawtooth Hangers
1. Saw (to cut board to size)
2. Paint Brush
5. Measuring Tape
Step 2: Building the Drying Rack
Place your already cut board on workbench props. Take your primer and apply one coat. Once dry, one coat at a time apply two coats of chalkboard paint. Once dry, you are ready for your next step.
Step 3: Marking and Drilling Holes
Place the newly painted board with the short ends facing out. Two inches from the left side of the board make a mark. 4.5 inches down from that make another mark. Make these until you have 4 different pencil marks equally far away from one as much as the next. Then, at each mark drill a hole. Screw the hook screws into each hole (there should be 4).
Turn the board over and at the top nail two sawtooth brackets to the back. They should be about 12 inches away from each other and each should be about 2.5 inches away from the edge.
After finishing this task you should be done!
