Child's Craft Turntable

Introduction: Child's Craft Turntable

About: I live in Texas with my husband, 5 children, 3 dogs, 3 chickens, and a parrot.

This idea came about because the plastic shoebox tubs we used for art supplies were getting filled with legos, barrettes, and other small items.

Everything stays better organized and it's easier to spot the stray toy or rock that ends up in it.

Step 1:

I used a regular spice turntable from the big box store, four mesh pencil holders and three mesh paperclip holders (Rubbermaid), and lots of hot glue.

Step 2:

Hot glue the cups in a pleasing arrangement on the turntable and fill with pens, pencils, brushes, crayons, scissors, erasers, etc.
At our house we call this "the homework center".  Moves easily to kitchen table, counter, coffee table, and desk.

    Very creative and stylish idea.
Love that it spins so everything is easy to grab.
I'm going to make one sometime, it will help me stay organized and
it's good the containers are see through.

Excellent instructions, thank you so much for sharing.
