Never have 3pm snack anxiety again when these are around. These powerhouse snack bites are gluten free, vegan, contain no processed sugars, and are full of healthy fats and complex carbs. And did I mention they taste just a little too much like chocolate banana bread?!
Step 1: Place Ingredients in Food Processor
- ½ cup whole almonds
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup date paste (or use chopped, seeded dried dates)
- ½ banana⅓ cup rolled oats
Step 2: Roll Dough Into a Ball and Place in the Refrigerator
Remove dough from the food processor, and roll into a ball before covering in plastic wrap. Place in refrigerator to harden.
Step 3: Roll Into Snack Balls!
After the dough has hardened in the fridge for about 10 minutes, remove and use your hand to roll into individual snack balls. Enjoy a few immediately (of course) and then store in the refrigerator for several days or in the freezer for several weeks.
