Introduction: Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe

This banana bread is very easy to make and tastes delicious!

Step 1: Materials

Materials needed:

  • 9x5 inch loaf pan
  • mixer
  • measuring tools
  • two large bowls

Step 2: Ingredients

Ingredients needed:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed well 1 1/2 cups
  • 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Step 3:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit

Step 4:

Whisk the mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, yogurt, and vanilla together in a large bowl.

Step 5:

Whisk the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt into a separate bowl.

Step 6:

Gently fold the banana mixture into the flour mixture. Once its combined fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 7:

Generously coat your 9x5 inch pan with vegetable oil spray. Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Step 8:

Bake for about 55 minutes or until golden brown. Once the loaf is done baking let it cool in pan for ten minutes before removing the loaf and letting cool for one hour.
