Step 1: Ingredients
For this recipe you will need:
1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1 c chocolate chips
8 tbsp unsalted butter
Step 2: Mix It Up
Using your electric mixer, combine both of the sugars and the butter.
Step 3: Bring in the Vanilla
After the sugars and butter are mixed completely, turn the mixer on low and add the vanilla.
Step 4: Now Bring in the Egg
Add the egg into the mixture and mix until it's just combined, but don't over mix this step.
Step 5: Dry Ingredients
Now add the flour, baking soda and salt, mix until it has a crumbly texture.
Step 6: Chocolate Chips
Add the chocolate chips and stir into the batter.
Step 7: Cool It Down
Put into the refrigerator for an hour to chill.
Step 8: Chocolate Chip Lumps of Goodness
Roll 1 tbsp of batter into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
Step 9: Bake!
Bake in an oven that's been preheated to 350° for 9-11 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
Step 10: Almost Ready to Eat
Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
Step 11: Enjoy!
