Introduction: Chocolate Face Mask

This chocolate face mask is easy, fast, and can be made with things most people already have in their kitchen.

Plus, it smells like wonderful chocolate the entire time you're wearing it.

Chocolate does some pretty great things for your skin.

It's a mood booster, a powerful antioxidant, and it protects and rids the skin of free radicals. Flavonoids in chocolate absorb UV light, help increase blood flow to the skin, and improve skin’s hydration and complexion.

So why not rub chocolate on your face?

Step 1: Ingredients

2 oz unsweetened chocolate

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 egg yolk

1 vitamin E capsule (optional)

Step 2: Mix, and Done!

Melt your chocolate for a roughly 45 seconds in the microwave.

Add coconut oil, and microwave until everything is fully melted.

Poke a hole in your vitamin E capsule and squeeze the oil into the mixture.

Mix in the egg yolk. The cold egg yolk will start to thicken your mixture. Don't put this back in the microwave! You don't want to accidentally cook any egg bits.

To use, wash and dry your face. Smear on face mask and let set for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with warm water and a gentle soap. Pat dry.

This stores in the fridge for up to a week.
