Step 1: Ingredients List:
Here are the things you will need to gather for your Chocolate Heavens:
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup Oil (I used light olive oil)
2 Tbsp Drinking Chocolate (You can use a cocoa powder for a more chocolatey flavour)
1 Cup Self Raising Flour
Handful Chocolate chips/drops
Also: Remember to preheat the oven to 180 C
Step 2: Combine:
Combine together: Sugar, egg and oil in a bowl
Mix this together well with a fork until it looks like the picture above, It should be a thick, syrupy consistency.
Step 3: Sift In:
Sift in flour and cocoa. Add chocolates and mix to a dough. If it is too dry, add milk. If the mixture is too wet, add more flour.
Step 4: Now the Fun!
Knead dough gently on a lightly floured surface. Divide into two and shape into bricks. Cut a slice off a brick and lay it on a baking sheet. Shape the cookie gently and round the edges. To finish, press on the top with a fork.
Step 5: Cooking
After cooking for 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees, check they are cooked by stabbing with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean they are cooked and you can now prise the cookies onto a cooling rack and enjoy!
Step 6: Serve
These cookies are best served warm with a glass of milk. Sit back, relax and enjoy a cookie
