Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake




Introduction: Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes
2 cups cake flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 stick butter
¾ cup peanut butter
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
¾ cup buttermilk

Preheat oven to 350
Line muffin pan with cupcake liners
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soad, and salt – set aside
Cream butter, peanut butter and sugar in electric mixer
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
Add vanilla
Add dry ingredients in batches, alternating with buttermilk
Scoop batter into muffin cups, fill 2/3 of the way full
Bake for 14-15 minutes
Cool completely before icing

Chocolate Peanut Butter Icing
1 stick butter
¾ cup peanut butter
½ cup cocoa powder
6-8 cups powdered sugar
4-5 tbs milk
1 tsp vanilla

Cream butter and peanut butter
Add vanilla
Gradually add cocoa powder and powdered sugar
Add milk as needed to get desired consistency

    I just made these and they are amazing! I was out of peanut butter from the dough, so I just used cool whip for the frosting. :9
