It is the same story every christmas...lots of delightful cookies, candy and more. Everyone has had enough of them over the last few days and now they remain there untouched.

What a shame what a waste.

No IT'S NOT; IF YOU REFURBISH THEM INTO GORGEOUS MOIST RUMBALLS ...all ready to go at new years party in a new look.

So lets wave the magic wand:::.......::::::::

Step 1: Materials:

leftover:

cookies

cake leftovers

candy (preferably same flavored)

nuts((unsalted or spiced)

raisins

Nutella(1-2Tbsp)

RUM or Whiskey

a bar of tempering chocolate or melting chocolate chips for the coating

WELL, there is no proportion to the ingredients all depends on what you have at hand, just make sure that the cookie and cake crumbs outnumber the rest of the ingredients.

Step 2:

1.In a small bowl soak the raisins in rum , so that the rum covers them all up- overnight.

2. put the Cookies, candy, and nuts in a ziplock plastic bag seal it and run it over with a rolling pin, crushing all the cookies and candy and nuts into tiny pieces.

Open the ziplock bag and pour out the contents into a mixing bowl.

3. Drain the Raisins and add them to the bowl. MIX

4.Add 1-2 Tbsp of nutella to the mixture.

5. pour the rum into the mixture little by little to completely moisten the mixture. Then using your hands knead it to form a dough like mixture. you can add some more rum if it is too hard. The dough should be formable yet a bit crumbly.

6. using your hands press the dough into small balls and lay them on a greased paper onto a flat plate.

Place this plate in the freezer for them to harden for around 30 mins to an hour min.

Step 3: Making the Final Coating.

Tempering in a microwave:

run over the slab of tempering chocolate with a rolling pin to crush it into small pieces. In case of using chocolate chips skip this step.

put the chocolate bits in a microwave poof bowl and heat on a maximum for 20 secs.

remove and stir.

repeat this process till all chocolate has melted into a smooth clump less batter.
