Introduction: Chunky - Funky Bracelet

Hello There! I am a teenager from India who loves making new things on the rainbow loom!

Today I'm going to teach you how to make this Chunky-Funky Bracelet. It's one of my favorite bracelet made on the Rainbow loom. Hope you enjoy making it! Who knows? It might become your favorite bracelet too!

I have submitted this project as an entry for the Crafting 101 contest! I hope you vote for this Instructable!

Step 1: Things You Will Need

Start by arranging the things you will need:-

- 18 Red,Orange,Yellow,Green,Blue,Purple,Pink rubber bands

- 6 S/C clips

- 1 Crochet hook or the hook that came with your Rainbow loom

- 1 Rainbow loom

Step 2: Arranging the First Layer of Bands

Take 5 Red rubber bands and place them on the loom in an cross formation at alternative pegs.

Step 3: Arranging the Second Layer of Bands

Next , Place 4 more Red bands in the spaces between bands of layer one again,in a x formation.

Step 4: Looping the Bands

Now, take second end of the first rubber band in layer and move it over to the other side as shown in the picture.

Step 5: Finishing Looping

Do the same on all the pegs except for the first and last peg.

Step 6: Getting the Hang of It

Add one more layer of rubber bands in the same way as done in step one but,do not cross the rubber bands this time. After that loop all the pegs ( even the first and last).

Step 7: Repeating the Steps

Add one more layer of rubber bands in the same way as done in step two but,do not cross the rubber bands this time. Then loop all the pegs except for the first and last one. After that keep repeating steps 5 - 6 until you have woven a wristband of your size

Step 8: Doing the Ending

Now your loom should look something like this. Now, Take the band on the last peg on your hook and transfer it to the second last peg. Then transfer all the bands that are now your last peg ( which was the second last peg) to the second last peg (which was the third last peg). Do the same on the other side.

Step 9: Puting on the S/C Clips

Now we are left with 6 pegs. Transfer all the bands on each peg to an S/C clip.

Step 10: and the Finale

Attach the other side of the S clip to the corresponding band on the other side.

Note: there are 5 bands on the first layer on the other side so one of them will have to be attached on the second layer.

Step 11: You're Done! Yippee!
