Introduction: Cinnamon Churros Recipe

Churros could be a snack, dessert, or just whatever you want to call it. You can eat them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or all. So, if you like Churros here I am giving you the recipe for the best kind of Churros, Cinnamon Churros!

(The recipe is for chewy Churros, but there will be tips on how to make it kinda crunchy)

Step 1: Ingrdients

1cup - warm water (don't boil just heat)

2 1/2 tablespoons - white sugar

1/2 teaspoon - salt

2 tablespoons - vegetable oil

1 cup - all purpose flour

2 quarts - oil for frying

1 teaspoon - ground cinnamon (for toppings)

1/2 cup - white sugar (for toppings)

Step 2: Directions

1- mix all the ingredients together, except for the white sugar and the cinnamon that are used for toppings and the oil used for frying, we'll use those at the end. The dough should have a color near to yellow, and it would be more like play dough and not liquid dough.

2- get a piping bag ( if you don't have one then use a ziplock bag and cut it at one corner) and put the dough in it, then get some parchment paper and place it on a tray, after that get your piping bag and start piping the dough into any shape you like.

3- freeze the Churros for an hour (or two if needed), the reason we freeze them is because you don't want to ruin their shape while frying, or worse, the dough could go all over your frying pan.

4- after getting them out of the freezer, pour some oil into the frying pan and get your Churros ready to be fried. The heat of the oil should be on 375°F (190°C) and now you can fry your Churros, just drop them into the frying pan and get cooking for ten minutes, you can move them around with a spoon so they would burn until they get a golden color (if you're using your hands while dropping them into the frying pan, please be careful)

5- once you're done cooking, you can get the cinnamon and the sugar, mix them together until it all turns into a light brown color. Once the Churros cool (or if you like them hot, it's fine) roll them into the cinnamon and sugar mixture.

And here you are done!
