A warm combination of cinnamon rolls tore up and mouth water apple crisp topped with caramel and white frosting.
A PERFECT fall snack!
Step 1: Gather Ingredients
- 4 big apples
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 3/4 cups of flour
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 sleeve of graham crackers
- caramel sauce
- white frosting
- cinnamon rolls
Preheat the oven at 350 for the apple crisp
Step 2: Peel and Slice Apples
In preparation for the apple crisp, you need to peel the skin off of the apples and cut the cores out of the middle. Then, thinly slice the apple into the small pieces.
Step 3: (Optional) Sprinkle Cinnamon and Sugar on Apples
After all the apples are sliced up, you put them in a large bowl and sprinkle your desired amount of cinnamon and sugar on them. Then, mix up the apples until they are all covered.
Step 4: Mix Dry Ingredients
After your apples are peeled, sliced, and covered in cinnamon and sugar, you begin making the top layer of the apple crisp. In a medium-size bowl, you first mix together one stick of butter and brown sugar. Once these two ingredients are crumbled together, you may add in the salt, flour, and cinnamon.
Step 5: Make Graham Cracker Crust
After making the top layer of the apple crisp, you then prepare the graham cracker crust. You break up the graham crackers into small pieces to make them fit into the food processor. After the whole sleeve of graham crackers are crumbled up, you pour them into a 9x9 inch pan and you add one stick of melted butter to the crumbles.
Step 6: Pour Apple Slices on the Crust
Once your graham cracker crust is made, you then pour the apple slices on top of the graham cracker crust and you evenly lay them out on top.
Step 7: Add the Toppings on Top of the Apples
After evenly spacing out the apples, you then add the toppings on top of the apples. Try to cover as much of the apples as possible.
Step 8: Put the Apple Crisp in the Oven
Put the apple crisp into the oven for 45 minutes after the oven has been preheated to 350.
Step 9: Bake Cinnamon Rolls
After the apple crisp is done cooking, set it out to cool.
While the apple crisp is cooling down, you should then prepare the cinnamon rolls. Follow the directions on the back of the cinnamon roll package on how to prepare them.
Step 10: Melt Caramel and Frosting
While the cinnamon rolls are baking, melt the white frosting and caramel sauce in the microwave for about 30 seconds each.
Step 11: Prepare the Parfaits
Once the cinnamon rolls are done baking, let them cool for about 10 minutes.
Then, tear up the cinnamon rolls and layer with apple crisp. Finally, drizzle with caramel and frosting and eat them up!
