I build a Clear Tube Drone using Acrylic Tube and supported by 3D Print parts.
This is a Mini Racing 250 Quadcopter, I'm using:
- Naze32 Flight Controller
- FrSky D8R-II Plus Radio Receiver
- 4 RCTimer Brushless Motors with mini ESC
- Boscam FPV 5.8G 8CH 400mW AV Wireless Transmitter TS353
- 600TVL Camera for FPV
- Mobius Action Cam to record flight beauty video.
- 5" props.
Step 1: 3D Printing & Motor Assembly
I breakdown my old Mini 250 Racing Drone, and keep flat base frames for the main construction.
Then I design body frame support and Motor Mount using 3D Printer, using PLA+ Filaments.
The size of Acrylic Tubes : 12mm outside diameter and 8mm inside diameter.
Step 2: Arm Assembly ..
Assembly motor to motor mount and acrylic tube arm.
I covered all cable using yellow heat shrink to hide cable look inside acrylic tube.
Step 3: Setup Wiring..
Setup all wiring connection from Motor to ESC (Electronic Speed Controller), ESC to Flight Controller, and connect cables from Radio Receiver to Flight Controller.
And for FPV Video, .. just connect Video Camera to Video Transmitter and Power Source, and attach the Video Antenna.
Step 4: Ready to Fly!!!
