Step 1: Watch Video

Step 2: Prepare Ingredients

You'll need:
- 0.5L (500ml) of Original taste Coca Cola

- 1kg (2.2lbs) of sugar

Step 3: Put Cola in Saucepan

Step 4: Boil Cola a Little Bit.

Cola should be barely warm.

Step 5: Put 1/4 of Sugar.

Don't put all sugar at once. You should repeat this step few times.

Step 6: Stir Until Sugar Dissolves in Cola

You should repeatedly add sugar and stirring until approximately 1/4 of Cola is vaporized. This takes about one hour on moderate flame.

Step 7: Put Cola Into the Jar.

Don't afraid if Cola looks like syrup, it is should be like this.

Step 8: Put Cola Syrup in Cold Water.

Wait until syrup cools down.

Step 9: Put Cola Syrup in Fridge or Freezer.

Step 10: Wait About One or Two Hours

If you use Freezer 30-45 min(s) should be enough.

Step 11: Done

    wow. cool honey, so to speak, Would taste very much like the base cola, welp, duh! it IS Coke.

    Looks like a tasty carmel sauce! Nicely done.

    There might be a little push back from some segments of society (from the honey purists).

    Calling this "honey" may create comments from people who believe all honey in stores is just thick sugar syrup. A disclaimer may be useful to help prevent misunderstandings with such people.

    Keep up the good work, I like this!

    DIY Hacks and How Tos

    Clever idea. But if you put a really hot jar in cold water, there is a good chance that the jar will break. So you might let it cool a bit either before the water bath or before pouring it into a jar.

    Possible. There's a small chance that this happens. Main purpose of doing this is cool down syrup as fast as possible to be able to put it into the fridge. Thanks for noticing this. I tend to forget such things easily.

    Just a thought to my above comment, with all the street food hoopla these days, perhaps Instructables should have a street food channel under food. Food for thought...
