Introduction: Cola Jello (On a Stick!)
This is a very easy and quick recipe for great tasting Cola Jello Pops! I was doubting how it would turn out with the carbonation and all, and very much after the gelatin was added to the soda and produced a foam that hardened into a leather-like item. But, they turned out quite well, it just took a little longer to firm, but it was worth it. if i had one regret, i wouldn't have used diet rite, maybe root beer or Mt. Dew. Anyways, here is my recipe:
4 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 cup cold Soda
3 cups Soda, heated to boiling
Sprinkle gelatin over cold soda in large bowl. Let stand one minute. Add hot soda and stir until gelatin completely dissolves, about 5 minutes. Pour into 13x9x2 inch pan. Refrigerate until firm, about 3 hours. Cut into 1 inch squares and serve, on lollipop sticks.
