Introduction: Color-code RGB Leads

Always trying to re-figure which lead of an RGB LED is which? Here's a simple tip:

Use wire strippers to remove short pieces of wire coating in red, green, and blue. After you power the LED and determine what the pins are, slide the wire coating of the appropriate color onto the pins. 22 gauge fits perfectly.

Also, you can use black for common cathode (common pin connected to ground) or another color (white in picture) for common anode (common pin connected to supply).
