Introduction: Combi Square Holder
Ive been re fitting my workshop / shed, and a big part of what i needed was proper tool storage.
I dont own that many tools so i decided to hand all of my most used / important tools above my workbench.
So heres a quick look at how i made a combination square holder.
Hope you like it.

Step 1: Layout
As with pretty much everything i was using scraps here, but it worked out well because i only needed small bits.
I started by cutting a base piece to the match the base of the square, then two smaller pieces which i inlay'ed into the front to stop the square falling forward.
Step 2: Glue Up
One everything was cut to the right size i glued the front pieces in and made sure the base of the square would fit snugly between the front and the tool wall.
Step 3: Attaching
The same process as with the bevel gague, i wanted it to be "floating" so i drilled some holes for small nails on both the holder and the tool wall and used the nails as dowels. I mainly did this because the piece was so small there was no way i could use proper dowels but i wanted it to be "floating"
So there it is nice and easy.
