Sin embargo, cada cabeza es un mundo y lo que funciona para ti tal vez no funcione para otro. Crear un sistema que funcione para nosotros es vital, y ¿qué mejor manera de hacerlo que confeccionando nuestra propia agenda? El día de hoy Fancy Mendoza nos cuenta paso a paso cómo pueden crear su propio planificador y conseguir todas sus metas de este año.

Organization is the key to success, or so they say. One of the most effective ways to keep ourselves organized is, without a doubt, writing down and scheduling our day. Nevertheless, every person is a world on it’s own and what works for you might not work for somebody else. Creating a system that works for us is vital, and what better way to do it than creating our very own planner? Today Fancy Mendoza will share with us how to create your own planner step by step and achieve all your goals for this year.

Let’s do it!

Step 1: Materiales

Mini-Binder de 3 hoyos para hojas 5 ½” x 8 ½”
Hojas con rayas para mini-binders 5 ½” x 8 ½”
Protectores de hojas plásticos para mini binders 5 ½” x 8 ½”
8 Hojas de Papel 12×12 preferiblemente con patrones de ambos lados
Tijeras
American Crafts Guillotina 3-en1
Etiquetas para Divisores – Note-tabs
Stamp para Fechas
Sobres Sellables auto-adhesibles – Pocket-Tabs
Marcadores de colores
Washi Tape
Pegamento
Baker’s Twine
Post-it para carpetas
Elementos decorativos: Confetti, stickers, tarjetas Project life, etc
Impresora
Plantilla de Corte y doblado Divisores (imprimir en hoja 8 ½” x 14”)

3 hole Mini-Binder for 5 ½” x 8 ½” paper sheets .
Ruled Filler Paper sheets for Mini-Binders 5 ½” x 8 ½” .
Plastic sheet protectors for Mini-Binders 5 ½” x 8 ½”.
8Paper sheets 12x12, preferably with patterns on both sides.
Scissors.
American Crafts Guillotine 3-in-1.
Division tags - Note-tabs.
Date Stamps.
Self-adhesive Sealable envelopes - Pocket Tabs.
Color Markers.
Washi Tape.
Glue.
Baker’s Twine.
Post-it for binders.
Decorative elements: Confetti, stickers, Project life cards, etc.
Printer.
Cutting and folding template Dividers (Print in 8 ½” x 14” paper sheet).
Printable Annual and Monthly Calendar and personal data sheet.
¼” Hole Puncher.

Step 2: Divisores Con Bolsillos

Imprime la plantilla cortando solo el cuadro de 5 ½” x 12” dejando visible las líneas punteadas de guía de doblado y perforando los 3 hoyos según indica la misma.

Colocar la plantilla sobre las Hojas de Papel 12×12 procediendo a marcar y cortar al largo de 12”. Una Hojas de Papel 12×12rinde para 2 divisores.

Tomando en cuenta el lado que más te guste de los patrones que tienen tus Hojas de Papel 12×12 dobla usando la guía hacia el lado contrario para formar el bolsillo. Pega los lados del bolsillo usando pegamento (una fina línea) o con Washi Tape.

Print the template cutting just the 5 ½” x 12” square leaving visible the dotted line as a folding guide and perforating the 3 holes according to the mark.

Place the template above the 12 x 12 paper sheets proceeding to mark and cut along de 12”. One 12 x 12 sheet of paper serves for two dividers.

Taking into account the side that you like the most of the two patterns in your 12 x 12 paper sheets, fold the guide towards the counter side to form the pocket. Glue the sides of the pocket using glue (a fine line) or Washi Tape.

Step 3:

Utiliza la plantilla para marcar los hoyos del lado frontal del divisor y procede a perforar.

Con 6 de las hojas completaras los 12 meses del año y las extras las puedes usar de portada + anexos (sheet protectors) Utiliza tus Etiquetas para Divisores (Note-Tabs) para identificar cada mes del año. Recomendamos iniciar con el mes de Diciembre que es el último y continuar colocando las etiquetas de los meses restantes en orden ascendente-escalonado de manera que quede parcialmente visible la información de cada mes.

Puedes decorar a tu discreción los divisores usando tus marcadores, Washi Tape , Baker twine (para banderines) y/o recortes de las hojas con patrones.

Use the template to mark the holes on the front side of the divider and proceed to punch the hole.

With 6 of the sheets you will have completed the 12 months of the year and you can use the extra sheets as cover + attachments (sheet protectors. Use the division tags (Note-Tabs) to identify each month of the year. We recommend initiating with the month of December, which is the last month of the year, and continue placing the tabs on the remaining months in ascending-laddering in a way that the information can be visible in each month.

You can decorate the dividers whichever way you like using the markers, the Washi Tape, Baker Twine (for pennants) and/or cuttings from the patterns sheets.

Corta del tamaño 5 ½” x 8 ½” con tijeras/regla o con tu American Crafts Guillotina 3-en 1 en la medida indicada. Es preferible dejar espacios en blanco debajo y arriba para decorar a tu gusto.

Cut the 5 ½” x 8 ½” size with a scissor/ruler or with your American Crafts Guillotine 3-in-1 to the indicated measurement. Ideally, leave blank spaces above and under so you can decorate to your liking.

Step 5: Coloca Los Insertos

Empieza a colocar los insertos dentro de tu Mini-Binder de 3 hoyos para hojas 5 ½” x 8 ½” :

Starts placing the inside your 3 hole Mini-Binder for 5 ½” x 8 ½” sheets of paper:
Post-it for the binder.
Divider selected for the front cover.
Personal information sheet .
Important dates sheet.
Calendar January.

Ruled paper sheets for 5 ½” x 8 ½” Mini-Binders, approximately 10-15 .
Repeat for the next 11 months .

Step 6: Portada Exterior De La Carpeta

Corta una hoja Hojas de Papel 12×12 o Cartulina lisa (si te sientes creativ@) con las dimensiones de 6 7/8” de ancho por 8 ½” de largo usando Tijeras/ Regla o American Crafts Guillotina 3-en1

Decora a tu gusto ya sea con marcadores – Washi Tape. Nosotros nos inspiramos con el dorado y blanco escribiendo “2015” con un marcador de color Dorado/ Metálico.

Inserta en el bolsillo frontal de tu Mini Binder de 3 hoyos para hojas 5 ½” x 8 ½”

También puedes diseñar una contra-portada e identificación lateral a tu gusto usando los remanentes de tu Hojas de Papel 12×12 o Cartulina.

Cut a sheet of paper 12 x 12 or a plain Cardboard (if you’re feeling creative) with the measurements: 6 ⅞” width by 8 ½” long, using scissors/ruler or American Crafts Guillotine 3-in-1

Decorate it whichever way you like using markers or Washi Tape. We got inspired by gold and white writing “2015” with a Gold/Metallic marker.

Insert in the frontal pocket of your 3 hole Mini-Binder for 5 ½” x 8 ½” paper sheets.

You can also design a counter-cover and lateral identification to your liking using the remnants of your 12 x 12 paper sheets or cardstock.

Step 7: Toque Personalizado/ Decora / Documenta

Coloca tu Sobre Sellables auto-adhesibles – Pocket-Tabs en el interior de la portada de la carpeta, este te servirá para entrar tu celular, USB Drive u otros artículos pequeños que no quieres proteger de caídas al movilizarte con tu carpeta

Luego de armar tu carpeta las opciones de decoración/ personalización son infinitas. Ayúdate de los materiales, de las fechas especiales, las temporadas para decorar tus meses.

Puedes decorar todos tus meses desde el inicio del proyecto o también ir decorando mes a mes en función a tu inspiración.

Documenta en las páginas separando cada día con Washi Tape e identificando tus entradas con el Stamp para Fechas.

Place your self-adhesive sealable envelopes - Pocket-Tabs on the inside of the cover of the binder, this will allow you to use it a as a holder for small articles like your cell phone, an USB Drive or anything that you might want to protect from falls while you move around with your binder.

After you put together your Binder the options to decorate/personalize are endless. Help yourself from the material, the important dates, the seasons to decorate your months.

You can decorate all of your months from the beginning of the project or also decorate month by month according to your inspiration.

Document the pages separating each day with Washi Tape and identifying your entries with the Date Stamp.
