Concentrated Photovoltaics With a Power Transistor

With the famous 2N3055 power transistor it is possible to make a solar cell or photovoltaic cell, a really small one. But with the help of a magnifying glass it produces enough electricity to move a tiny motor. This motor works with a voltage as low as 0.3 Volts. It is very important to use a radiator heat sink. This one is made of aluminum.

    omg cool - why does that work? That's quite an enormous heat sink. Love how the video has no words or music but is perfectly clear how you made it. Wonder where you get those old can type transistors anymore
