Step 1: Materials

  1. ShapeCrete Concrete Mix
  2. Tin Foil Pan
  3. Non-stick cooking spray
  4. Container for mixing
  5. Decorative pieces

Step 2: Prepare the Form

Spray the tin with non-stick spray.

Step 3: Create a Design

For this style, the glass pieces are put on the bottom of the pan. It is easier to preplan the design before doing the next steps.

Step 4: Prepare the ShapeCrete Concrete Mix

Follow the directions of the ShapeCrete. Mix it for casting. Make sure that there are no clumps when mixing.

Step 5: Add the Concrete to the Form

Carefully pour the concrete into the sprayed tin with the design pieces at the bottom. You will need to add the concrete carefully as it can move the design pieces. Let the design sit for at least 24 hours.

Step 6:

Remove the tin and let the concrete continue to dry. Use a tooth brush to remove concrete that is covering your glass pieces.

WOW I guess I could even use rectangular pans and really get creative. I love this idea and thank you for taking the time to explain it all so well.
