Introduction: Controlling DC Motors With Arduino

Hello! Today I'm going to show you how to control a DC motor with an Arduino.

Step 1: Parts

For this project, you will need:

  1. DC motor(1)
  2. 9v battery/ battery connector(1)
  3. Breadboard(1)
  4. Arduino(1)
  5. Jumpers
  6. Push button(1)
  7. 10k resistor(1)
  8. 1N4007 Diode(1)
  9. nMosfet(1)

Step 2: Making the Circuit

To make this part easier, I made a digital circuit model. Here's the link: https://circuits.io/circuits/5293902-motor-driver . I also provide the Eagle board files if you want those as well. If you want the Gerber files, you can find those on the linked site.

After you have made the circuit, you need to upload the code. I recommend that you read the code notes to help understand how the system works.
