Today I am going to make a circuit of centre tapped rectifier.This is a full wave rectifier that will convert AC to DC.This circuit will give output DC with full wave.This is the type of full wave rectifier.

Step 1: Take All Materials As Shown
Materials required -
(1.) Step-down Transformer - (For AC power supply)
(2.) pn-junction diode - 1N4007 x2
(3.) Capacitor - 25V 1000uf
Step 2: Connect Diodes
This transformer is 12-0-12.It converts 220V AC to 12V AC.
Connect Anode side of both diodes in 12-wire of transformer as you can see in the picture.
Step 3: Connect Cathode of Both Diodes
Next we have to connect Cathode side of both diodes each other as you see in the picture.
Step 4: Solder Capacitor
Now we have to solder capacitor to reduce the fluctuations of output DC power.
Solder Positive (+ve) pin of capacitor to the Cathode side of diodes and
solder Negetive (-ve) pin of capacitor to 0-wire of transformer as solder in the picture.
Step 5: Connect Wires for Output
Now we have to connect wires for output power to the circuit.
Connect wires parallel with capacitor for output power supply.
DC Output wires -
From the +ve pin of capacitor will be +ve output of DC and
-ve of capacitor will be the -ve output of DC power supply as shown in the picture,
This DC power supply can use in various electronic devices.
