Cookie Dough You Can Eat Like Ice Cream!

About: I love crafting, like stuff for toys. I also love baking, and I find many great recipes on here. That's all I have to say, cause' I can't think of anything else :)

Recently I have heard of all these places in california and new york where you can get cookie dough that is safe to eat raw, like ice cream. But I live in Texas, so I decided to make my own. Hope you enjoy and thank you for viewing!

Step 1: Ingredients for a Single Serving

1/4 cup cake flour or AP flour (Please note that you should heat the flour to 160f in the microwave to kill bacteria)

1/8 cup white sugar

1/6 cup brown sugar

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1/8 cup butter or butter spread of substitute

Step 2: Mix

Beat together all of the ingredients, plus your choice of add-ins. If you are using chocolate chips, be careful, cause' too many and you can't taste the cookie dough. If you like that, though, go for it! If it's too dry, add a tiny itty bitty bit of milk. i added too much, but it was still delicious!

Step 3: Freeze and Eat!

Freeze for 15 minutes and then eat! You can freeze longer, but I couldn't resist!

The funny thing is that my mom always used to eat raw cookie dough. I honestly don't think there is a problem with it, and I just think that maybe the eggs get contaiminated if the shippers don't refriderate them right. My mom grew up on a farm, so she and her family ate their chickens eggs.

I found that you need to use the tiny chocolate chips because the bigger ones are too hard to chew when frozen. My nephew used to ask me to make ' chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream without the ice cream'
