Step 1: Ingredients

1. egg-1 large

2. all purpose flour- 260 grams or 2 cups

3. Sugar- 1 cup or 125 grams

4. Vanilla Essence- 10 grams or 1/2 tsp

5. Chocolate chips ( dark cooking chocolate)- 1/2 cup

6. salt- a pinch

7. Butter -200 grams

8. baking powder- 1 tsp

Step 2: Method

Sift flour and baking powder in a bowl and keep it aside

Now beat the butter ( should be at room temperature) and sugar, salt, egg and vanilla essence in a separate bowl.

Add one part of vanilla essence in the flour mixture.

Now add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Mix every thing well and add in the chocolate chips. Mix well.

Now put in a baking tray one-one spoon of the batter but make sure that they are at a good distance , so that they don't stick to each other as when they will bake they will spread and increase in size.

Bake them for 12- 15 minutes at 160 degrees . Let them cool at room temperature , as they will be too soft when hot. When the cookies are hot you can add some chocolate chips on top , this gives a good look and tastes lovely for the chocolate lovers...

Do give a try .... Eat n Enjoy:)
