Corkboard Necklace Organizer

Here is how to make a corkboard organizer to hang all of your statement necklaces or bracelets!

By Sam Almonte, Kelsey Thorne, and Michele Reggiano

  • Corkboard
  • Sheet rock
  • Picture frame
  • Measuring tape/ruler
  • Marker
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun
  • Thumbtacks

Step 1: Measuring the Sheet Rock

Measure the piece of sheet rock to the size of the frame and cut the sheet rock (the sheet rock will keep the corkboard in place when inside the frame).

Step 2: Measuring the Corkboard

Measure the amount of corkboard that needs to fit directly on top of the sheet rock and cut the corkboard.

Step 3: Gluing the Corkboard

Using the hot glue gun, glue the corkboard on top of the sheet rock.

Step 4: Measuring the Fabric

Measure desired fabric slightly larger to cover the corkboard/sheet rock, and then cut the fabric.

Step 5: Placing the Fabric

Place the fabric underneath the corkboard, and glue the perimeter of the fabric to the board.

Step 6: Gluing to Corkboard Inside the Frame

Glue the perimeter of the fabric and corkboard to the inside of the picture frame.

Step 7: Leave the Board to Dry

Allow the board to dry for 15-20 minutes.

Step 8: Placing Thumbtacks

Place thumbtacks on board to hold jewelry, and you have your finished product!
