This creamy Garlic Mushroom recipe is a basic recipe for making flavourful mushroom side dish. This dish is often served as side dish and can be served on breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's very popular among kinds but adults love it too. The combination is my own but the recipe is a classic one.
Step 1: Ingredients List
Mushroom - 500 gm
Chicken stock - 70ml
Heavy cream - 100 ml
Garlic - 4 cloves
Oregano - 1 tsp
Cilantro leaves - 2-3 TBSP
Step 2: Preparing the Ingredients
Give mushrooms a quick clean and cut them to your desired size. I usually chop the big ones in half and leave the small ones in one piece. Chop some cilantro leaves and set aside.
Step 3: Cooking
In a pan over medium high heat add olive oil. Add minced garlic to it. Once garlic starts to release aroma, add mushrooms and saute until tender. Add stock. You can use chicken stock or vegetable stock. When stock starts to reduce, add heavy cream. Bring cream to boil and then simmer for 5 minutes.
When sauce thickens up, season with oregano, salt and cilantro leaves.
