Crispy Oven Baked Onion Rings Recipe

Ingredients:

1 large white onion

1-2 cups of buttermilk

1 cup flour

1 cup cornmeal

2 eggs beaten

1-2 cups panko bread crumbs

cooking spray

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Slice about 1/2 inch to inch rings into the onion and separate from each ring

3. Cover onions with buttermilk and allow to soak in refrigerator for 1-2 hours

4. Remove from buttermilk and dry off onions

5. Mix together flour and cornmeal

6. Dip onions in flour mixture, then egg and then bread crumbs

7. Spray rack over a sheet pan and lay out onion rings and spray the top of the rings

8. Cook for 10-15 minutes on each side until they are golden brown

9. Enjoy!
