Crochet a Chromosome Pair

A colleague of mine asked if I could crochet a couple of chromosome pairs for his lessons about mitose. This is the second pair I've made so far. If you guys like the pattern I'll upload the other two soon.

About the pattern: It's a good project for beginners and is doable with youtube video's.

Step 1: About Filling and Finishing

Tip:

Make sure you stuff the chromosome with cushion filling if you reach round 24 and 46.

Crochet two of these and sew a press stud in row 25.

If done correctly the chromosomes will make the X.
