Today I will teach you how to make your very own pair of cropped sweatpants.

Step 1: Step One
Fold your fabric in half and then in half again.
Step 2: Step Two
Take an old pair of sweat pants that fit and lay them down over your fabric with the folded edge of the seam of the pants. (put the top of the pants at about a two finger width from the top)
Step 3: Step Three
Take your chalk and out line the pants about one inch off of them. (this is for the seam line)
Step 4: Step Four
Cut out your pants, You can keep them this length or like me, cut them shorter to make them cropped.
Step 5: Step Five
Now your two pieces should look like this. Draw a line down the middle and cut both fabrics in half.
Step 6: Step Six
From here cut out a two inch wide piece of fabric (three fingers wide) the same length as your pants.
Step 7: Step Seven
Pick two opposite pant legs and pin one two inch piece and sew each onto it.
Step 8: Step Eight
Take the other pant part and sew together.
Step 9: Step Nine
Pin the other half to the pant leg from the bottom of the crotch and down and sew it together.
Step 10: Step 10
Pin the crotch part together and sew.
Step 11: Step Eleven
Hem the ends of the pant and now your done.
