Step 1: Clean Your Prep Station
Make sure your area is clean to prepare the snack by wiping your prep area with a disinfectant wipe.
Step 2: Gather Ingredients
Gather all the food and food supplies as listed. You will not need the disinfectant wipe anymore.
Step 3: Clean Your Hands
Wash your hand with soap and water or with sanitizer.
Step 4: Prep the Cutting Board
Lay out a clean cutting board in the prep area.
Step 5: Wash the Cucumber
Rinse the cucumber thoroughly in the sink with water.
Step 6: Cut the Cucumber
With a cutting knife, carefully cut the cucumber into quarter inch slices.
Step 7: Place the Cucumber Slices
Place an even amount cucumber slices on a clean plate.
Step 8: Spread the Hummus
Spread the hummus using a butter knife evenly on half of the cucumber slices.
Step 9: Add the Turkey
Fold one slice of lean cold cut turkey in half, two times in order for it to fit on the cucumbers. Then, place the folded turkey on the other half of cucumber.
Step 10: Top With Cucumber
Lay the hummus spreaded cucumbers on top of the turkey, completing the “sandwich.”
