Introduction: DIY Baby Groot Pen Stand From Cardboard!

Hello makers! This instructable will teach you to make your own little Baby Groot Pen Stand. Who doesn't love a little Groot!

Supplies

So, to make this, you'll need:

• Cardboard

• Cutter

• PVA Glue or Hot Glue

And that's it!

Step 1: Get Groot on Cardboard

Draw or print the image template given above to a piece of cardboard. Using brown sharpies or markers will give it a nice effect on the cardboard.

Step 2: Cut It Out

Cut out the image on the piece of cardboard as clean as you can. You can cut sharply to the borders of the image or you can leave spacings and cut out a rough shape as shown in the image.

Step 3: Cut Another Shape

Cut out another rectangle that perfectly co-insides with the cut out of baby Groot.

Step 4: Paste the Boundaries

Take a long thin strip of cardboard, about 1 inch of thickness, and paste it vertically on the back of the Groot cut out such that it forms a 'U' shape. PVA glue will work just fine but you'll have to hold it in place while the glue dries. Hot Glue or other types of glue can also be used. Make sure that the rectangle we cut fits on top of it.

Step 5: Paste the Rectangular Piece

Now, apply glue on the edges of the boundary and paste the rectangle over it. You'll have to hold the rectangle while the glue dries. After doing so, it should look like the image above.

Step 6: That's It!

That's it! Your own Baby Groot Pen Stand is complete. You can add weights in the form of clay to the bottom to add weight or you can directly stick it to the wall.

Happy Making!
