Step 1: Create the V
Fold your shirt in half vertically, then lay it on one side
Using your ruler, measure how deep you’d like the “V” to be.
- We recommend 4-5 inches
- Measure from the end of the collar line
- If you want the “v” to be wider, you’ll need to start the measurement wider depending on how low you’d like it to be.
Use tape or a pencil to create your guide. This will help you cut out the “V” shape in the next step.
Step 2: Cut
Using your scissors, cut along the guide.
Cut along the collar as well.
- Optional: Stretch the “V” shape by gently tugging on the edges. This will give the shape a more “worn” look.
Step 3: Finished!
