DIY FPV Goggles

About: One to watch out for.

Ever seen those coooooooooostly fpv systems the guys at flitetest have. Well i envied them for having such great things. I knew about the range of mobile phones and the power of video calls or Skype or anything like that. So i decided to make my own using a couple of mobile phones. More in the steps.

Step 1: Go Get What You Need

I used what i had , a cardboard box (not in the pic)

2 mobile phones

1 cap (optional)

Now lets get to the good stuff.

Step 2: Trimming the Box to Your Specifications

Take the box. cut a curve for it to be more comfortable.

Do the same for the underside but make a cut for your nose.

Step 3: Preparing to Attach

Wear the cap. Check where the box should be attached.

Or else you could staple one of those things that are used in rucksacks to tighten or loosen. (i suggest the cap it is more comfortable than strapping something to your head.

Step 4: The "coming Together"

attach the box to your cap by super glue, Zip ties (recommended) or like me using tape.

Step 5: The "delivery Boys"

Put a mobile on your multirotor or plane. Put another one in the box.

Step 6: How to Use It

Time to know how to use your goggle.

Video call or Skype the mobile on your plane or multirotor or rc car or rc boat etc.

Put your mobile in the box.

use your rc anything

ENJOY.
