Hello friends, today we are going to make a fund collection container. We made this to collect fund for the flood relief fund. Recent floods in India was catastrophic. Many people died, lost homes and belongings. So, we decided to donate money in the Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund. So, NSS students of our school used this fund collection and collect money.

That was the story behind this. Now, let's make it.

Step 1: Materials Required

We made this using easily available things.

  • One ice cream cup
  • Cardboard
  • Pair of scissors
  • Theard seal tape
  • Gum tape
  • Piece of paper
  • Pen

Step 2: Make Time....

First, take cardboard and place the cup over it. Then, mark the circumference of the cup and it. Be careful while using scissors, because they are sharp! Make a hole in a rectangular shape to put coins. Place the cardboard over the cup and tape it with Theard seal tape, because it's easily removable. Take a small paper and write the purpose of the fund. Here, it was for the Flood Relief. Tape the paper to the cup. Viola! our fund collector is ready to help the needed.

There is an alternative method just use the lid of the cup and make a hole, and then paste the paper. But, the first method will be easier. Moreover, it helps to develop a helping mentality among children.
