Step 1: MATERIALS
Candy or toy plastic wrapper
Oven glove (I didn’t use one but I wish I did)
Small surprise toy, stickers, candy etc
Step 2: Blow Drying the Wrapper and Shaping to the Egg.
All you have to do is save your candy and toy wrappers.
The thinner wrappers work better since they’re easier to melt. I used candy wrappers from SpongeBob SquarePants, small candy (but not chocolate because it’ll melt), Moshi Monsters Blind Bags, and Despicable Me Blind Bags.
1. Cut the plastic wrapper to size to make sure the wrapper fits the egg.
2. Wrap it around the plastic egg.
3. Use oven glove to hold the egg.
4. On high setting use the hair dryer to melt the wrapper around the egg.
5. After about 2 min the wrapper should have melted to the egg.
The hair dryer part should be done by the parents as the heat can hurt the kids fingers.
The kids can join in the fun by choosing the toys and cutting the plastic wrappers.
Note: When opening the egg choose the side of the wrapper with the seam, it’ll be easier to open.
Good luck, have fun.
