DIY USB Android Charger

About: Masters in Chemical Engineering University of Nottingham Experienced Process Engineer

This Nokia charger was lying around in my junk as the wire had snapped from the middle but I figured the charger was working.

I opened it up and with the help of some hot knife I melted the plastic of the casing to make a notch for the (Female usb connector) and glued it firmly.

I soldered the wires to the negative and positive terminal of the charger.

VOILA!

DIY Android charger from an old charger.
