DIY Your Own Tea Cup Candle Holder...

Introduction: DIY Your Own Tea Cup Candle Holder...

About: Mia Bella Passions is an art, home and garden blog created by Award-winning New Zealand Contemporary Artist Tracey Lee Cassin. A fun place where she shares her passion for DIY, crafts, sweet treats, and more.

You can also use vintage cups and saucers matched or mismatched for a more delicate pretty look.

These candle holders are fab gifts wrapped in cellophane and tied with a ribbon.

Step 1:

Take one pretty teacup...I used a Maxwell and Williams cup and saucer set in an aqua colour.

(Wait for the sales to pick up the cups and saucers at bargain prices.)

You'll also need a ball candle.

Step 2:

Add some ceramic or hold all glue.

Just place glue on the underside of the base of the cup and place the upturned saucer on to it. Leave 24 hours to set.

Step 3:

Place your ball candle on top of the saucer and place in your home decor...or gift.

These are great! My grandma made a whole bunch of these, it's fun to see all the different teacups and sauces you can find for this :)

I love projects like this that take common objects to make the uncommon!
