Introduction: DIY Kitchen Shelving Unit Under $150

This is my second DIY project, I built this shelving unit from scratch using spruce pine from home improvement store.

Spruce pine lumbers

2"x4" by 12FT x 4

2"x3" by 8FT x 3

1"x6" by 12FT x 4

1"x8" by 12FT x 2

1"x12" by 6FT x 1

Tools:

Table saw, drill/driver, jigsaw, clamps

Step 1: Attaching Four Legs Together to Complete the First Frame

- Simply combine 2x4 and 2x3 together for all four legs, length is 3 ft

- Frame is 5'6" x 14" for the top and bottom using 2x4 lumber

- Frame for the middle should be the same dimension, but use 2x3 instead.

- Make sure to secure the screw from the inside of the frame and on the side.

Step 2: Joining All Three Pieces to Make the Table Top

You will need to do this for the middle shelf as well but with 2x3 frame.

Step 3: Attaching the Mid and Bottom Frame

You will need to cut four pieces of 2x3 with length of 8 inches.

Step 4: Adding More Boards on the Bottom Shelf

Step 5: Adding 2"x3" Poles to All for Corners to Secure the Middle Shelf

To make it easy to adjust the height of the middle shelf, I only use 4 pieces of 2x3 to secure the middle shelf without having to use screws or nails.
