Introduction: Decorative Lemon Rose

About: Hi! My name is Kayla and I am 16 yrs. old. I am homeschooled and in the 11th grade. I am a vegetarian and enjoy trying to eat healthy. I play the violin, enjoy school, learning to sew, cooking, drawing, and li…

Ok this is so easy it is going to blow your mind. This is a nice way to spice up your plain dishes. I used it next to some lemon tarts and it really gave it a nice appearance.
Materials:
1) A sharp paring knife
2) 1 fruit per rose
3) Cucumber peel or parsley/ cilantro leaves, kale is an option too.
Wash your fruit or veggie and dry in well. Starting from the top of the fruit, start to peel the skin off with your paring knife. You just want the top part. Go around in a spiral motion going clockwise. Peel all the way down and set your fruit to the side. Now, take the skin and from one end, start rolling it. You want to keep it sort of tight but not too tight to break it. Roll it all the way up and flip it over. You are done!! You can garnish it with some "leaves" using parsley/cilantro; kale; or cucumber skin. With the cucumber skin, you want to slice it off in pieces about 2" wide, then you can use your knife and cut out your leaves into the shape that you desire. Suggested fruits/ veggies for your use:  lemon, orange, tomato, and eggplant.
