A recipe for gooey, delicious chocolate chip cookies
Step 1: Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup of butter melted
⅓ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 ½ cups semi-sweet milk chocolate chips
Step 2: Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Place the melted butter in a bowl and begin to mix in both the brown sugar and the granulated white sugar with a mixer. Add in the egg and the vanilla extract at low speed until smooth. Add the salt and baking powder into the dough at medium speed. Slowly begin to add the flour, half a cup at a time, until all the flour is completely used. Mix until the dough is completely smooth. Add the chocolate chips to the completely mixed dough.
While the oven is preheating, let the dough sit in the refrigerator. While the dough is in the fridge, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Once the oven is heated, scoop 1 to 2 spoonfuls of dough into your hand, form a ball and place them on the cookie sheet. Once all the dough is on the cookie sheet, place the cookies in the oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
