Introduction: Delicious Focaccia Bread

As we don't get special flour for bread making here in India, I used general purpose finest flour available here known as 'Maida'.

Ingredients:

1. Flour (Maida) - 250 G

2. Instant Yeast - 1 Table Spoon

3. Olive Oil - 1/2 Cup

4. Sault - 1 Tea Spoon or to taste

5. Sugar - 1/2 Table Spoon or more to taste

6. Black Paper - 1/2 Tea Spoon

7. Olives, Jalapeno, Chilli flacks, Oregano or other seasonings to taste

Step 1: Yeast Proofing:

In a bowl, add 3/4 Cup warm water around 110 F. Add Sugar and Yeast.

The picture is of after 10 Min.

Step 2: Flour Preparation

While yeast is being proofed, add Flour, Salt, & 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil.

Mix the ingredients by rubbing with hands. Oil should be well mixed with flour.

Step 3: Add Yeast Mixture to Prepare Dough

Add yeast mixture with the flour mixture.

Mix well till the dough comes together.

Knead the dough gently for about 5-7 Mins.

Step 4: First Proofing

Put the dough in a container.

Cover with transparent sling.

Pre-Heat oven at 80-100 F

Switch off the oven.

Put Container in switched-off oven for first proofing for 2 Hours.

Step 5: Prepare for Final Proofing

After about 2 Hours, remove container from oven.

Remove sling.

Gently need the dough for a min.

Step 6: Spread the Dough

Take a oven proof silicon tray or a butter paper.

Grease the silicon tray or butter paper. Spread the dough on the silicon tray or butter paper to the thickness of a pizza base.

Grease the base with remaining olive oil.

Sprinkle Black Pepper, Olives, Jalapeno, Chilli Flacks, Oregano or what every toppings you prefer. Cheese too!

Cover the tray with transparent sling.

Put in 80-100 F preheat switched off oven for second proofing for 2 Hours.

Step 7: Back and Enjoy

Remove sling.

Back at 400 F for 25 Mins for normal bread. 5 Min more for slightly hard crust.

Spread the cheese and butter if you like it heavy.

Enjoy.
