Hey guys, this is Kester! Today I will be talking about the pros and cons about desoldering and some ways and tips for desoldering. There are some benefits to this and some not so good benefits. Lets talk about this and lets get started!

Step 1: Patreon

As you may or may not know, I am Kester. I have a YouTube channel that is based on making electronics videos and diy videos and tutorials. As me making lots of videos and putting time and lots of effort and money into producing products and videos, I would like to get some support from my fellow fans to help me keep up with producing more content and projects for you guys. So on behalf, I would like to show you guys Patreon. Patreon helps support fellow DIY'ers and people who need help from the fans and supporters to keep content flowing for their fans to enjoy. So what I'm asking for is a donation from you guys to keep my content going and to make my fans happy by producing more content! Thanks again for all of your support. Step 3: Pros to Desoldering

There are some pros you can get from desoldering. What I like to do is go to a scrapyard and find some decent looking electronics that i am willing to tear apart. I usually desolder everything on the boards and store away my useful parts. I usually get a bin full of capacitors and resistors and now and then you get these specialty rare items you never know you can you in the future projects. ;)

Step 4: Cons to Desoldering

There are some cons to desoldering though. First of all it can take up a lot of time and stress desoldering each part of the board. even though your saving yourself a couple of dollars in the long run, you may just want to pitch in a few bucks online or at radioshack to buy the parts (which sometimes I do).

Step 5: End

I hope you guys liked this instructable. I know this was short and sweet, but I hope you guys checked out my video and while your at it go ahead and check out my channel and subscribe for more future videos! Also there is a link to my Patreon also to help support my finances to make those videos! Thanks!!

That was not an instructable with any information on desoldering. Where is solder wick? where is solder sucker?

Just a short video to promote your youtube channel.
