Diy Handpainted Clay Pot

Learn how to paint clay pot using acrylic colors. Happy crafting!!!

Step 1: You Will Need

Acrylic colors
Paint brushes
Plain clay pot
Varnish

Step 2: Paint , Paint , Paint

Using large paint brush paint whole surface of the pot. As i am using clay pot first i applied primer so clay can not absorb more color. If your pot is preprimed then this step can be omitted.

Step 3: Floral Design

After drying make desirable design on in. Make sure base coat was completely dry. I made 5 petal flowers. For that i draw 5 same size circles side by side.

Step 4: Outline

After drying using black acrylic color outline them. I add some polka dots on pot too

Step 5: Varnish

To make your handpainted pot waterproof or dust proof apply varnish on pot. And you are done:)
