Introduction: Diy Plastic Sealer

About: Crazy about llamas!

So, you need to seal some plastic wrap on to a container,

or you need to reseal a bag?

This might come in handy.

Step 1: You Will Need:

A knife

A gas stove (I got mine from a junkyard:)

Whatever you need to seal.

A safe place away from flammable stuff.

Step 2: HEAT UP THE KNIFE!

You will need to heat it for 5 seconds for thin plastic, and till red hot for thick or metal coated plastics.

Step 3: Press the Knife on to the Plastic.

It should seal nicely and not emit too many fumes, as long as you don't press too long.

For thick plastics it will emit a LOT of fumes. stay away if possible.

Step 4: Cuts Too!

You can even cut thick plastic with it.

WARNING FUMES FUMES FUMES . DO NOT BREATHE.

It should cut really easily.

Step 5: Here's the Damage I Did to That Container.

It will not be so smooth,

but it will do for crafts and it does not leave sharp edges.

Step 6: Clean Up!

Wash your knife

clean the stove

scrape the molten plastic off the countertop

I hope you like this.
