A centerpiece that anyone can make using the colors and the products of the season.

There are so many variations and ways so get crafty and express yourself!

Here is a step by step lesson on how to create your Pumpkin Flower Arrangement.

Step 1: Materials

  • Flowers different sizes and textures (enough amount to fill your vase)
  • Green leaves, twigs and decorative natural flower ears
  • Cutter or scissors
  • Floral foam
  • Pumpkin

Step 2: Pumpkin Vase

Cut the top of the pumpkin off, clean it and insert 3-4 wooden sticks (we will use it for decoration)

Scoop out the pumpkin seeds and stringy insides.

Put a bag inside pumpkin to keep the foam wet for a longer period.

Tip: You can use cling film instead of plastic bag

Step 3: Floral Foam

Soak the floral foam in water, place it in a deep bowl or a bucket.

Do not push the floral foam under the water, allow it to sink naturaly for few minutes. The foam is ready for use once it finished releasing water bubbles.

Cut your soacked Oasis floral foam to fit pumpkin.
Now you can start creating your arrangement.

Tip: Tablespoon of sugar keeps your flowers looking flawless longer.

Step 4: Arrangement

Insert your longest flowers/stems in middle pointing them in different directions.

Keep adding flowers variety by variety and work in a circle, always walking around the pumpkin, making sure to cover every angle.

Continue adding foliage to hide all floral foam.

Tip: Cut the stems of your flowers at a 45-degree angle. This instantly increases the surface area for water intake, so your flowers will be well hydrated.
