In this instructable you will be learning how to make a dj stand to pay the piano with the makey makey.We will one step at a time for clear instructions. There are only steps 1 - 6.

Step 1: Materials

CardBoard Box

Makey Makey

Alligator clips

Plastic cover

Markers

Tape

Laptop

Step 2: Makey Makey

First, you will need to connect the laptop to the makey makey with the usb cord to use the website scratch. The website scratch is supposed to be used with the makey makey. The link to the scratch website is right here, Scratch: Piano Para.

Step 3: Making the DJ Stand

Next, you can create a Dj stand. You can do that by cutting out a box that will have a shape of an Dj stand. Then you will have to tape the plastic cover to the top and make a hole inside of it. Like teh example of the dj stand me and my group made together.

Step 4: Drawing the Speakers and Creating the Disks

After that you can draw speakers on the box with the markers. You can also make the disks by just putting foil on them to protect it from getting scraped by the alligator clips. The reason why you need to put foil is because you will need to have to connect the alligator clips to something conductive.

Step 5: Connect the Alligator Clips

After, connecting the alligator clips to the disks and then you will have to connect the other end of the alligator clips to the makey makey.

Step 6: Alligator Clips to Something Conductive

Finally you will need to connect the alligator clip to the earth and attach it to something conductive. To play you have touch the earth always to make it work and there is an up arrow, down arrow, left arrow and right arrow. Ther is also a space and a click button to control the keyboard.
